The Bass Coast Rail Trail is a great way to experience regional coast tranquility in the heart of Gippsland, Victoria.

This 16km track along the Gipplsand coast has everything a cyclist could ask for - grand views of the ocean and the rolling hills, plus an exhilarating crossing on the Kilcunda Bridge.

Enjoy a flat ride on fine gravel from Wonthaggi station, then ease up a gentle incline to Anderson station on the Bass Highway, along coastal sand dunes and through open farmland.

Watch out for horseriders, as the beautiful track is a favourite for equine lovers and cyclists alike.
