The second storey open-plan living space is a chic and social space to sink into a comfy sofa or chair with a glass of wine or open the doors to the private entertaining deck to dine al fresco. A U-shaped kitchenette hugs the end of the room, providing all you would need for a comfortable short or long-term staycation. Downstairs you will find three bright and relaxing bedrooms, and 1 full bathroom. There is a second outdoor shower in the laundry for your convenience for washing off sand after the beach. You also have access to a private backyard, giving you ample space to entertain as a family or as a group of close friends. 

This striking two-storey home sits in a convenient Jan Juc position. You’re super close to the best surf breaks with Winki pop, Boobs, Jan Juc surf beach and world-famous Bells Beach just minutes away.  Bob Pettit reserve with its footy and soccer ovals, kids’ playground, mini bike park and junior skate ramp is just on your doorstep if you’re travelling with little ones. 

If you’re staying in Jan Juc, you’re probably a surfer – if not, you will be by the time you leave. Jan Juc and Torquay offer some gnarly waves, but there is a lot more to do here than surf or swim. In 2 minutes  you’ll be at the leafy creek walk that takes you to Jan Juc surf beach.  Or, take in the magnificent views as you take the Surf Coast Walk along the cliff top heading left to Torquay or right to Bells Beach and beyond, looking out across Bass Strait.

There are great public transport links around this property, and you’re welcome to bring your own car. If you don’t have a car we recommend a number of car-sharing apps such as Uber and Taxify.

Please be mindful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Pet Policy:
Dogs are permitted subject for approval. Please also advise the breed of your dog as some very large breeds will not be permitted not more than 30 kgs. Dogs must be up to date with all the proper vaccinations and registrations. Dogs are not allowed in the bedroom and furniture but can stay in the living area and balcony.

The property is fully fenced. Pets must be kept under control at all times. Please ensure they are not left alone for extended periods as they can become distressed. Guests must provide their pets bedding, water and food bowls. Guests are responsible for 100% of the costs related to pet clean-up. That includes paying for landscaping/gardening and for any time spent cleaning up pet waste in the yard so that our cleaners can do the rest of their job safely. The property management is not responsible if your pet escapes from the property and we recommend they have a collar with their name and contact phone number if they do become lost.

A $50 fee applies.

Neighborhood

◆Surf at nearby Jan Juc Surf Beach, Boobs, Winki Pop or world-famous Bells Beach. Jan Juc Surf Beach and Boobs are each a 20 minute walk from the door.
◆You’ll find the perfect breakfast at Swell in nearby Jan Juc village (Stuart Avenue)
The Beach Hotel and Bird Rock Café are ideal, family-friendly options (both in Stuart Avenue)
◆Head into Torquay for a great selection of cafes, restaurants and bars. Roku Den or Samesyn in Bells Street are fantastic. Bomboras beach bar on the Esplanade is the perfect bar with a view and, often, live music.
◆Enjoy a scenic flight all the way to the 12 Apostles with Tigermoth World (tigermothworld.com.au).

Access

You will have access to the entire place for the duration of your stay.

House Rules

1. Identification of all guests to be sent upon request to Rejuvenate Stays via Airbnb prior to the access instructions sent out. If ID has not been received (if requested), we reserve the right not to send out access details.
2.Please call Rejuvenate Stays if you discover any issues within the first hour of check in so they can be checked and rectified if necessary.
3.Please note Rejuvenate Stays properties are all ‘non-smoking’ properties. If there has been smoking in a “non-smoking room” you may incur a cleaning surcharge being added to your account.
4.Please switch lights, air con, fans or heating OFF when not occupying the premises.
5.If you have additional guests who wish to stay please let us know as the number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance and for the use of additional bedrooms.
6.Please note we do not accept events or parties. Any disturbance to neighbours, including excessive noise, offensive and/or unruly behaviour, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
7.Guests are expected to behave in a manner, which is conducive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests surrounding the property. Only guests advised in the booking agreement are allowed on premises. Additional visitors by arrangement only
8.Please let us know if there are any breakages or items you notice that need repair. Even if it’s a glass we would appreciate you letting us know so that we can replace it for the next guests.
9.Checkout time is strictly 10:00am, unless prior arrangements have been made. If you would like to check out later or stay another night please contact us at Rejuvenate Stays and we would love to accommodate you.
10.Please ensure that all garbage is taken out and if you are there on bin collection day please put the bins out as we would greatly appreciate it. Let us know if this is not possible so we can advise our cleaners to assist with disposal.
11.Please wash and put away any dishes. If you found any crockery, cutlery etc to be unclean on arrival please leave it out for our cleaners to attend to with a little note thanks.
12.Please remove all linen from beds and place on end of bed. Please leave towels hanging up in the bathroom.
13.Please lock all windows and doors when departing.
14.Please ensure that the keys/remotes/fobs are left as instructed in your arrival instructions.
15. Any loss of keys, remotes, fobs and/or parking permits will incur a replacement and administration fine. Please refer to the property specific information for the cost involved.
16.Any breach of Rejuvenate Stays Terms and Conditions permits Rejuvenate Stays to refuse the key, or immediately terminate the occupancy with forfeiture of your rent. This includes any act or omission, which in the opinion of the Director Rejuvenate Stays, adversely effects or brings discredit upon the business, owner or other guests.
17. Minor Guest Policy
Guests Under the Age of 25 MUST travel with a guest of 25 years of age or older
Guests are required to be 25 years of age to stay in our property on their own. Guests not conforming to this policy, unless prior approval is given, will result in denying access to the property and no refunds will be provided.
We are happy to consider making exceptions so please contact us if you fall within this age restriction but would love to stay with us.
18. Pets Policy ( For Properties Applicable only)
Please refer to our terms and conditions or our property description for more information regarding our pet’s policy.
19. Maintenance Issues:
We do our best to attend to all maintenance issues as and when we are notified during typical work hours. However, please note if you contact us over the weekend from Friday 4pm – Monday 10am we will not be able to organise a call out. We will still be contactable over this period for emergencies only.
Public Holidays
Outside work hours (after 4:00 pm – before 9 am Monday-Friday )
We will do our best to respond to all request of repairs within 24 hours and organise a tradesperson within work hours.
We can’t compensate any guests who request repairs/callouts during the above timeframes as it is very difficult to source tradespeople during the above mentioned hours.
