This was a charming apartment in a super location.
Lisa’s apartment at Alcaston House is extremely comfortable and very classy. We loved the old building and all the renovations to it made it a very easy place to stay. Great city location and easy transport to get to it by train or tram from the airport and easy to get around Melbourne. There were so many personal touches that it was like we were really just house-sitting and Lisa would be coming back at any stage… Although we didn’t do any actual cooking apart from toast at breakfast, there was plenty of equipment to cook all meals if you wanted to – even a pantry with lots of staples in it. We would definitely stay there again.
Great little apartment, everything you need is there. Very good location.
A truly beautiful romantic and beautiful decorated apartment, full of personality and charm. Beyond my wildest dreams. I felt like a princess under the full moon, celebrating the life of a queen in an oasis of style and warmth, colour and charm. White sheets are heavenly and now I’m obsessed with crystal bowls. Thank you and I’m looking forward to my next stay.
A lovely place to stay. Very well equipped and perfectly located at the top of town, within walking distance of great Flinders Lane and Little Collins St restaurants and bars, and directly opposite Treasury Gardens/Fitzroy Gardens. Lots of trams at your doorstep (you’ll hear them!). A little more northern light and slightly quieter and this would be a 10/10. Even so it’s an 8 or 9. If the measure of a place is whether you would stay there again it would be an emphatic ‘yes’. Thoroughly recommended
