Set on a huge block and nestled on a beautiful tree lined street, you wouldn’t know you are a stroll away from the best bars, cafes and quirky vintage shops. Just 350m from Edinburgh Gardens and a couple of minutes’ walk to Queens Parade village you don’t need to be anywhere else!

Sleeping up to 7 guests, it is spacious inside and out accompanied with a large outdoor entertaining area and massive back yard. There is an elegant but relaxed formal lounge room with ornamental fireplace. Explore the library of books or take in all the ornaments of our past located throughout the property. The styling throughout this home is a nod to the history of Fitzroy as Melbourne’s very first suburb.

Smoking is permitted in the outside area but is strictly not allowed inside the house.

We provide you with a starter pack of essential house hold items such as toiletries, dish washing detergent, washing powder, dish cloths, scrubbing brush, paper towels and toilet paper on check in. You will then need to purchase all necessities for the continuation of your stay.

Security Deposit and Guest Information
Please note we will deduct $500 from your credit card 10 days prior to your arrival. This will then be returned upon inspection of the property after your departure. If we need to make a claim against your security deposit it covers an amount up to $1000, which may include but is not limited to the following:

Excess cleaning fees, Excess laundering fees (inc. sleeping directly on to doonas, pillows, mattresses), Dirty BBQ, Excess garbage removal, Damage or breakages at the property, Loss of keys or scanners and Late check-out.

Our rates are based on twin share. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your enquiry. If you have babies please advise their ages also.

Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults, over the age of 25, present the whole stay. If this rule is breached, your security deposit will be forfeited and you may be evicted at any stage.

Big old classic North Fitzroy house in a great location, very quiet street, easy parking yet close to cafes and shopping. The 2 main bedrooms have very comfy beds, 3rd bedroom is a kids bedroom. The 1st main bedroom with ensuite is a standout. We enjoyed our time in this home as a family.

“Beautiful, historic period home on a quiet street with enormous rear yard full of citrus trees. Great barbecue for cooking on warm summer nights. Exemplary location if you love a convenient 3 minute walk to the huge and picturesque public gardens (Edinburgh Gardens), the local strip with gourmet restaurants, delis, fresh produce and of course, the city bound tram. And the local public library. Well appointed home with extensive selection of reading material in the library. You cannot go wrong; highly recommended.”

The only problem with our stay at Windermere was that it was not long enough! The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance of the cafes and shops in Clifton Hill, 5 minutes from the gorgeous Edinburgh Gardens and an easy tram ride into the city. The house is beautiful,

My family and I had a fantastic time over Christmas staying at the Windermere in Fitzroy! We had a minor hiccup which the staff at Rejuvenate Stays dealt with very promptly. The house is beautiful and so close to public transport, lively shops and amazing restaurants! Thank you so so much for delivering a Christmas Tree to us on Christmas Eve! We will definitely be using rejuvenate stays when we are all in Melbourne again!

We had a wonderful stay at Windermere. Just the ticket for a family get-together. The house was very clean with plenty of fresh, soft bath-towels. Spacious rooms and enormous backyard so close to the city.
