*Facilities *

A fully equipped kitchen with all your necessities including, Westinghouse
Refrigerator, Electric Franke Oven and Stove top, Simpson dishwasher, Samsung
microwave, Vittoria coffee machine, Russel Hobbs Kettle and plentiful
supplies of dishes and utensils. Pizza nights are around the 4 dining table
or drinks at the kitchen island bar.  There is a Reverse cycle split system
in living room and electric wall heater in the bedroom. Washing machine,
dryer, iron and ironing board, clothes horse, Stereo, 60 inch VHD Smart TV
with DVD player and free Wi-Fi to top it off.

The popular TV series ‘The Block’ on channel 9 has started their
renovation antics on the infamous Gatwick Hotel, a piece of St Kilda’s
heritage with a tainted name. Just 300 metres away making it a 4 minute walk,
enjoy a stroll and check out the changes.

*Meet and Greets*

We employ an external Concierge service, who have worked with Rejuvenate
Stays for many years in providing this service to our guests. They will greet
you at the apartment on your arrival and provide a tour of the property and
give you the keys for your stay.

Once advised by you we make a note of your desired arrival time however this
time will also have to be confirmed with the Concierge directly. There is a
$60 meet and greet fee already applied to your total booking cost covering
arrivals between 3pm - 10pm. If you are arriving between 10:00pm - 12:00am,
an additional after hours Concierge fee of $40 will apply. Arrivals after
12:00am will incur an additional $100 after hours Concierge fee. 

Please notify our Concierge of any delays in advance (at least 1 hour before
scheduled arrival). Any delays not notified in advance may incur an
additional $70 call out fee.

*Supplies*
We provide you with a starter pack of essential house hold items such as
toiletries, dish washing detergent, washing powder, dish cloths, scrubbing
brush, paper towels and toilet paper on check in. You will then need to
purchase all necessities for the continuation of your stay.

Tram Stop – 140m Princes St/Fitzroy St Stop and 190m to Princes St/Fitzroy

to stay active on your get away as you are so close to multiple parks and
gardens. Such as The Royal Botanical Gardens, St Kilda Botanical gardens,
Catani Gardens and Albert Park Lake.

*Cleaning Service*

Staying 7+ nights? Interim housekeeping services which includes a changeover
of linen can be arranged on your request. They are available at a rate of
$120 AUD per service and depending on what would make your stay more
comfortable, they can be arranged weekly or fortnightly.

*Security Deposit **and Guest Information*
Please note we will deduct $500 from your credit card 10 days prior to your
arrival. This will then be returned upon inspection of the property after
your departure.

If we need to make a claim against your security deposit it covers an amount
up to $1000, which may include but is not limited to the following:

Excess cleaning fees, Excess laundering fees (inc. sleeping directly on to
doonas, pillows, mattresses), Dirty BBQ, Excess garbage removal, Damage or
breakages at the property, Loss of keys or scanners and Late check-out.

Our rates are based on twin share ie 4 guests. Fees will apply for excess
guests not agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your
enquiry. If you have babies please advise their ages also.

Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 25 unless
accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults, over the age of 25, present the whole
stay. If this rule is breached, your security deposit will be forfeited, and
you may be evicted at any stage.

building*

 

Looking at the National trust’s information on this heritage building. The
front of the building is the original portion left which contains some of the
first self-contained purpose built flats in Melbourne which is an outstanding
claim to fame when looking at the history of this beautiful city.

This beautiful heritage building was originally built in 1912 with the design
influenced by its then owner. It was a rare building type for its era, as the
plans indicate a hotel layout, it was formerly a superior boarding house
known as the ‘majestic flats’. Fast forward to 1935, a renovation was
done on the former lobby, the ground floor and reception rooms but to this
day the interior of the flats is still left with Edwardian features. The
façade character of the building was altered also in this 1935 renovation.
The rear wings of this important member of Fitzroy’s Street’s history
were demolished in 1991. This building is a huge piece of Melbourne history
and most importantly, St Kilda’s. It shows the popularities and residential
character of Fitzroy Street all the way back to the first half of the 20th
Century.

Just spent 4 nights in The Mayford at St Kilda. Perfect stay for 2 people. Apartment is spacious and centrally located to trams, St Kilda beach and cafes. Cosy, clean and quite with a small balcony to rest after a long days shopping in the city! Easy access to car park and my husband enjoyed swimming in the pool and the use of the gym that the property gives you access too. Wouldn’t hestitate to recommend as it felt like a home away from home and will definitely return.
