renovated stunner. Sleeping up to 5 in this spacious 85 Sq m apartment with
two small Parisian style Juliet balconies, one off the lounge room and one
off the second bedroom. Polished floorboards in the living zones and then the
bare foot comfort of carpet in the second bedroom. Free Wi-Fi.

Overlooking the Flinders Lane precinct and Degraves Street, the “go to
place” for coffee drinkers, foodies, art lovers, wine lovers and shoppers
in Melbourne. Forget the car, you will never even think about driving with
everything enviously within a short stroll. It is only a 15 minute walk to
Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex and a 25 minute walk to Melbourne
Convention and Exhibition Centre, making it easy for getting to conferences
and events.

You will be asking “Will it be noisy staying here?” You will not believe
you are in the heart of Melbourne. The Apartment does not experience the
noise and hustle and bustle you would expect from being in such a central

European laundry with washing machine & clothes dryer, iron and ironing

Powder Room - Separate Toilet

The modern bathroom is accessible through a private robe leading from the
second bedroom or through a common entrance in the hallway. Couples can have
their privacy ensured with doors on both bathroom entrances.

*Meet and Greet*

We employ an external Concierge service, who have worked with Rejuvenate
Stays for many years in providing this service to our guests. They will greet
you at the apartment on your arrival and provide a tour of the property and
give you the keys for your stay.

Once advised by you we make a note of your desired arrival time however this
time will also have to be confirmed with the Concierge directly. There is a
$60 meet and greet fee already applied to your total booking cost covering
arrivals between 3pm - 10pm. If you are arriving between 10:00pm - 12:00am,
an additional after hours Concierge fee of $40 will apply. Arrivals after
12:00am will incur an additional $100 after hours Concierge fee. 

Please notify our Concierge of any delays in advance (at least 1 hour before
scheduled arrival). Any delays not notified in advance may incur an
additional $70 call out fee.

*Supplies*

We provide you with a starter pack of essential house hold items such as
toiletries, dish washing detergent, washing powder, dish cloths, scrubbing
brush, paper towels and toilet paper on check in. You will then need to
purchase all necessities for the continuation of your stay.

*Cleaning Service*

Staying 7+ nights? Interim housekeeping services which includes a changeover
of linen can be arranged on your request. They are available at a rate of
$120 AUD per service and depending on what would make your stay more
comfortable, they can be arranged weekly or fortnightly.

*Security Deposit **and Guest Information*
Please note we will deduct $500 from your credit card 10 days prior to your
arrival. This will then be returned upon inspection of the property after
your departure.

If we need to make a claim against your security deposit it covers an amount
up to $1000, which may include but is not limited to the following:

Excess cleaning fees, Excess laundering fees (inc. sleeping directly on to
doonas, pillows, mattresses), Dirty BBQ, Excess garbage removal, Damage or
breakages at the property, Loss of keys or scanners and Late check-out.

Our rates are based on twin share. Fees will apply for excess guests not
agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your enquiry. If
you have babies please advise their ages also.

Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 25 unless
accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults, over the age of 25, present the whole
stay. If this rule is breached, your security deposit will be forfeited and
you may be evicted at any stage.

A Heritage Victoria database entry for Majorca House, says: /"The Moorish
influence in its terracotta facade places it firmly within the Melbourne
tradition of exotic architecture in the late 1920s."/

This landmark on the city scene is one of the most beautiful pieces of
architecture our city has. 

When you next walk along Degraves Street or
Flinders Lane stop and have a peek at the Majorca Building, everything about
it is decadent and harks back to art deco and luxury. The facade on the
outside is blue and gold with gorgeous details like the twisted gold columns
that run up and down next to the windows. The entry way is mainly dark wood
that has been twisted and styled to look like a boutique entrance and the
golden light behind the windows shines through and eliminated the whole entry
way beautifully at night. The Majorca building has mainly residential
apartments for some of the luckiest people in Melbourne. They not only have a
beautiful piece of architecture to call home, but all the great cafes and
stores on the ground level are their local shops.
