Walk through the big red entrance door and you will be taken aback by the size of this one bedroom apartment with a central living/dining with charming balcony views over the Treasury precinct and a contemporary open plan kitchen with floor to ceiling pantry, dishwasher, compact oven with microwave, stove top and coffee machine. The large bedroom with built-in robes and stylish appointed central bathroom complete these flawlessly presented spaces. A study/business desk is incorporated in the living area, alongside the 6 seater dining table if work travels bring you here. There is also a hidden washing machine, great for longer stays.

Comfortably sleeps up to 3 guests in a queen bed and single fold out. The opulent tiling in the bathroom and glam lights above the mirror make you feel excited when you are getting ready for your day or heading out to a nearby restaurant, café, theatre or shop till you drop retail stores.

The benefits of the building's 'E' shape means the living room receives natural light shining on the original ornamental fireplace as you sit back in the comfy lounge and enjoy just being in the heart of the best city in the world. Open those large glass doors and stand out on the Juliet balcony to take in the city views including Treasury Gardens, The lights of the MCG and Rod Laver Arena in one direction and the top end of Spring Street in the other.

Please note Alcaston House is not suitable for children 18 months - 5 years of age due to the furnishings not being "toddler friendly".

A fully equipped kitchen with all the modern necessities including coffee machine, pots and pans, dishwasher, compact oven with microwave, toaster and kettle. Dining room with 6 seater dining table, air conditioner unit in the bedroom and heater panel in the lounge room, hidden washing machine in kitchen cupboard, iron and ironing board, smart TV in lounge room and bedroom, Free Wi-Fi.

Smoking is strictly not permitted.

Key Delivery Service 
We employ an external key delivery service to meet you with your keys on your day of arrival. The key handover time is to be booked directly with them at least 48 hours prior to your check-in. This service is included in your booking and covers arrivals between 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm. If you are arriving between 10:00pm - 12:00am, an additional after-hours fee of $40 will apply. Arrivals after 12:00am will incur an additional $100 after hours fee. 

Supplies

We provide you with a starter pack of essential house hold items such as toiletries, dish washing detergent, washing powder, dish cloths, scrubbing brush, paper towels and toilet paper on check in. You will then need to purchase all necessities for the continuation of your stay.

Cleaning Service
Staying 7+ nights? Interim housekeeping services which includes a changeover of linen can be arranged on your request. They are available at a rate of $100 AUD per service and depending on what would make your stay more comfortable, they can be arranged weekly or fortnightly.

Staying 9+ nights? We include compulsory interim housekeeping. Additional cleans can be provided on request. Staying between 3 and 8 nights? Let our housekeeping team provide you with a fresh, clean apartment! Price will be advised on request.

Security Deposit and Guest Information
Please note we will deduct $500 from your credit card 10 days prior to your arrival. This will then be returned upon inspection of the property after your departure.

If we need to make a claim against your security deposit it covers an amount up to $1000, which may include but is not limited to the following:

Excess cleaning fees, Excess laundering fees (inc. sleeping directly on to doonas, pillows, mattresses), Dirty BBQ, Excess garbage removal, Damage or breakages at the property, Loss of keys or scanners and Late check-out.

Our rates are based on twin share. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed in advance. Please include all adults and children in your enquiry. If you have babies please advise their ages also.

Please note the property cannot accept guests under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a minimum of 2 adults, over the age of 25, present the whole stay. If this rule is breached, your security deposit will be forfeited and you may be evicted at any stage.

Great location, apartment is full of character. Some noise in living area from traffic and trams but bedroom is much quieter due to triple glazing.
